Psalm 43:3-5

3-4 Give me your lantern and compass,

give me a map,

so I can find my way to the sacred mountain,

to the place of your presence,

To enter the place of worship,

meet my exuberant God,

Sing my thanks with a harp,

magnificent God, my God.

5. Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul?

Why are you crying the blues?

Fix my eyes on God—

soon I'll be praising again.

He puts a smile on my face.

He's my God.

The Message Translation

No I cannot count the ways you have made my life so blessed
All I know is that you came and made beauty of my mess

And you make me happy
You make me feel the way I do
You make me happy
I want to make you happy too

God’s Eraser

Back & forth

God’s eraser

rubs out my

sin, He leaves

no trace of

residue, for His

blood is poured

out all over

my heart

& now

I’m clean.

He brushes

Off the pages

Of my days.

I start again.

Memories of you are etched in my heart, like wrinkles on an elderly, smiling face,

they will never disappear. They only grow deeper... Why is that?

Random thoughts of you drift through my days like fluffy clouds on a blue sky day; I lift my face to the sky and dream... of your touch, your warmth...you...

I ponder the reasons, the meaning of this loss...no answers surface...I grow cold and yearn for the warmth of you beside me, above me, breathing the way you do and sharing all of you....

Is it true that my arms are not meant to hold you?

Is it true that my lips are not meant to brush yours?

Is it true that my eyes are not meant to gaze into yours?

Then Father, give me grace to understand.

Hope to look forward

to what you’ve prepared for me.

I place my heart in your care.

You have much better

If I will just let go….

~~~~~~~~~
 But she who would be born again indeed,
Must wake her soul unnumbered times a day,
And urge herself to life with holy greed;
Now open her bosom to the Wind's free play;
And now, with patience forceful, hard, lie still,
submissive and ready to the making will,
thirsty and empty, for God's breath to fill!
Going beyond words
Going beyond words
to a place where
Spirit touches spirit.
A place where time
no longer matters.
Going beyond words
to a residence where
God Himself fills the air
& no words are needed.
Deep calls to deep
My spirit filled
with Your Spirit.
I understand Your heart’s cry;
You answer my why.
Going beyond words
Earthly realm left far behind.
Sounds of heaven’s wonder
& earth receives with awe
Your touch….
Your changing touch.
In a lonesome place
as sun crosses the circle of sky.
Moments merge into hours;
hours into days.
Will I raise eyes and heart
and sense His warmth
or get lost in this cold earth?
Lip dragging the ground
or spirit touching sky?
Laying down heaviness...
reaching for His fingers;
mingling with heaven's
music, allowing the Son
to lift my chin upward.
Seems like someone's praying
as sun crosses the circle of sky.
Will hope buoy lonesome me?
